Bio
One of the hottest prospects in Scottish football, it’s fair to say Tegan Bowie’s career journey has come pretty full circle.
Bowie started her career at Hibs in the Girls Academy before securing a move to Celtic. The tricky winger won many plaudits in Glasgow before returning to the Hibees last season.
Blessed with both brilliant technique and dribbling ability, Tegan joined the Celtic Academy in 2018 and made her professional debut in the 2020/21 season. She made 17 appearances and scored once as the Hoops finished 2nd in the SWPL – their highest finish ever up to that point.
With a remarkable debut season under her belt, she received her first senior call-up to the Scotland National Team in November 2021 — just a month after receiving her first U19 cap!
Knowing the energy and positive atmosphere that Grant Scott provided thanks to her previous period with the club, Tegan returned to Hibernian on a two-year deal in the summer of 2023.
In her first season back in Edinburgh, Bowie became an instant hit with the Hibees support as a first team regular — making 31 appearances in total across the 2023/24 season.
