Bio

Lauren Doran-Barr’s tireless energy down the flanks has made her a real fans’ favourite since joining from Motherwell last summer.

Starting her career in the Rangers academy, LDB then signed for Stirling University whilst focusing on her studies - giving her invaluable experience in Scotland’s topflight.

Such was her pace and potential during this period, she secured a respectable amount of youth caps for Scotland as a teenager; appearing 11 times across the U16 to U19 levels.

Doran-Barr departed Stirling in 2019 and headed to Motherwell. The flying full-back became a key member of their squad and established herself as the club’s first choice right-back, despite a long-term injury ruling her out for the 2020/21 season. In her final season with the ‘Well, she made 28 appearances in total.

After signing for Hibs in the summer of 2023, LDB certainly made an impression on her debut in our 4-1 victory against Montrose, before also being singled out for praise after our narrow victory over city rivals Hearts at Tynecastle in the first Edinburgh Derby of the season. From that point on, she’s been a consistent performer in Green and White.
