Nohan Kenneh joined Hibernian FC from Leeds United in May 2022.

Born in Zwedru City, Liberia on 10 January 2003, Nohan had always been passionate about football. After moving to the north of England age seven, his love for the game accelerated as he joined local junior sides.

Chasing his dream, he was signed for the Bradford City and York City Academy, before signing his first contract with Leeds United in 2014.

It was at Leeds where he really developed progressing through the age groups and earning his first international call-ups for England.

Firstly at Under-15 level, he won his first cap in a 3-1 win at St George’s Park against the Netherlands, before representing the Young Lions at Under-16s and Under-17s. He faced teams like Brazil, Argentina and France.

His first taste of men’s football came in November 2020 in the EFL Trophy. He was aged just 17 as his Leeds side was beaten by then English League One side Blackpool.

He then had a further taste the year after – the 2021/22 campaign - featuring against Tranmere, Oldham and Salford in the same competition, captaining the young Leeds side against the former.

Kenneh grew from strength-to-strength receiving rave reviews in local media for Leeds’ Premier League 2 side and consistently featuring in First Team training.

His excellent performances and hard work in training saw the likes of Marcelo Bielsa and Jesse Marsch call him up to their Premier League matchday squad; he was named in 13 of them.
