Adam Le Fondre brings a wealth of experience to the Hibees, having scored an impressive over 270 goals in just over 700 appearances during his career.
Le Fondre has played all over the globe, with his career spanning spells in Australia and India – but his most memorable experience was in England with Reading FC.
The forward helped ‘The Royals’ achieve promotion to the English Premier League before scoring 12 goals in the English top-flight. As of 2021, Le Fondre owns the fourth-best career minutes-per-goal ratio in Premier League history, at 124.4.
He averaged one goal every 1.8 games during his time at Sydney in the A-League and helped the Club win the Premiership and two Grand Finals! He was also named in the A-League Team of the Season in 2019 and 2020.
Alongside playing in Australia, the forward also impressed in India, winning the league with Mumbai City.
On a personal note, he's been named in the PFA English League Two of the Year (2009/10) and in the A-League Team of the Year (2018/19 and 2019/20). He was also Reading's Player of the Season in 2012/13.
Known as Alf, he's got off to a good start to life with the Hibees.
