The Hibees are back on the road this weekend with a trip to Glasgow to play Rangers – read the match preview below.

David Gray’s side travel to Ibrox this Saturday 5 April; kick-off at 3pm!

The Hibees come into this one off the back of an impressive 15-match unbeaten run in the league – stretching all the way back to early December 2024.

Within that run, we’ve won 10 and drawn 5 matches – lifting us off the bottom of the league and up into third place!

We confirmed our place in the top six following our 3-0 victory over St Johnstone last time out, with Martin Boyle, Junior Hoilett and Kieron Bowie all on target at Easter Road.

We currently sit one point ahead of Aberdeen and three clear of Dundee United in fourth and fifth place respectively.

Joe Newell and Elie Youan remain the only other injury concerns and will be assessed ahead of the match.

Gray will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the press on Friday afternoon.

THE HOSTS

Rangers currently sit second in the William Hill Premiership with 65 points after 31 games.

The Gers have had mixed fortunes in 2025. Now under the guidance of former player Barry Ferguson – Rangers have won four of their six matches (all comps) under their interim management team.

The Glasgow side have struggled at Ibrox recently, however, losing their last four matches in Govan.

Our last victory at Ibrox was back in 2018 with goals from John McGinn and Jamie Maclaren earning us all three points in a 2-1 victory.
