Nick Montgomery revealed that Martin Boyle is back in contention for Hibs this weekend!

The Australian international has been back in training this week after following concussion protocol since he suffered a head injury against Rangers earlier this month.

“We’ve been able to get Martin Boyle back in training after the head concussion he suffered, but he’s raring to go now.

“It took him time to recover but the break has given him extra time to recover and us to be more cautious with him. He’s been laughing and joking this week being his usual self.

“He’s a great character and we’re delighted to have him back in the squad.”

Alongside Boyle, Josh Campbell is also back in elements of First Team training. He has been out since 27 December with an ankle injury.

“He’s been a big loss for us over the last two or three months. To get him back integrated with First Team training has been good. The plan is to build him up and bring him back into full training next week.”

The international break has also allowed Lewis Miller to recover from his hamstring injury, and he has the chance to return at Ibrox on Saturday.

“Lewis Miller has been back out on the grass and has a good chance to be involved but we will monitor that one and make a decision tomorrow. We have to get him back to 100%, but he’s looking good at the minute.”
