Grant Scott has praised his side's 'dominant' performance as Hibernian Women bested Partick Thistle at Meadowbank.
Defenders Lauren Doran-Barr and Poppy Lawson both netted in the comfortable 2-0 victory as Hibs welcomed the back some fresh faces back from the treatment table.
The result puts the team back level on points with city rivals Heart of Midlothian with nine games remaining in the SWPL season.
Despite all of the positives beaming down on a sunkissed triumph at Meadowbank, Scott - though pleased and handing out praise - admitted his side could have played better.
"I’ve been more happy with the performances in other games, but I think we did dominate the match today. We had a few scares, but in the main we dominated the ball quite well. I didn’t think our quality was great today.
"We were a bit blunt with the girls at half-time, we just didn’t think it had been good enough. The flip side is that we’ve come away with a victory today, so I guess you’re never always one hundred percent pleased.
"Despite my issues with the first half, I thought second half we were very professional. Once we got the second, I never felt we were ever in doubt. We managed the game and opponent really well; an opponent we hadn’t been so far this season. We done the job today and I’m delighted for the players."

Looking ahead to Hibernian's next fixture in a fortnight's time versus Rangers at Broadwood Stadium, Scott touched on the team's work rate and new tactical system as he looks to take on the Glasgow outfit for the third time in four matches.
"You’re always looking to the next match. It’s a tough one, but we look good and comfortable in the shape we are in just now. Not to say we won’t change [shape] again, because game-to-game opponents try to figure you out and we’ve got to do the same with them.
"But again it's credit to the players. We are down a few injuries again just now, we had a small squad today for the match. But everyone knew their job and worked really hard — which has never been in question here. We just need to keep pushing on now."
On Siobhan Hunter - who did not return to the pitch after half-time and was replaced by club captain Joelle Murray - Scott confessed it was merely a case of being cautious and careful with the veteran defender's fitness.
"We were being safe rather than sorry. She was beginning to feel her calf a little bit; it was a bit tight.
"We’ve got a more than capable deputy on the bench in Joelle, who is not one hundred percent either at the moment. She’s so reliable and gives us that calmness and steadiness in the backline."
