Games are coming thick and fast and we’re in cinch Premiership action again on Saturday as we take on Livingston - read the full match preview below!

The Lowdown

Nick Montgomery’s men host Livi at Easter Road this weekend looking to extend their five-game unbeaten run in the cinch Premiership and to break back into the top six.

The Hibees come into this one off the back of a 2-2 draw away at Ross County. A late Yan Dhanda strike, in controversial circumstances, stopped Hibs from taking away a deserved three points from Dingwall.

Despite this, Hibs are now five unbeaten in the cinch Premiership and sit seventh, one point behind Dundee in sixth.

Team News

Nick Montgomery will welcome back Nathan Moriah-Welsh on Saturday as he returns from his suspension.

Our Head Coach will still be without Luke Amos, Martin Boyle, Josh Campbell and Jake Doyle-Hayes.

In his press conference on Friday (15 March), Monty will provide an update on Jair Tavares – who missed the Ross County game through illness – alongside both Dylan Vente and Lewis Miller.

The Visitors

Livingston currently sit 12th in the cinch Premiership table with 17 points from 29 games – seven points behind Ross County in the Relegation Play-Off position.

David Martindale’s side have had a full week to prepare for this fixture and come into it off the back of a 4-2 defeat against Celtic in the Scottish Cup Quarter-Final.

In terms of league action, they’re looking for their first win in three games. Their last win – and third of the campaign – came at home against St Mirren in the middle of February.

Away from home, Livingston have only won one game this season and that came at Easter Road at the end of August as they ran out 3-2 winners. They’ve taken six points from 15 away games (one win, three draws).

Previous Meeting

The last time the two sides met, Hibs ran out 1-0 winners at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Martin Boyle's arrowed first-half strike was enough though to secure all three points just before Christmas.
