Nick Montgomery has made two changes to his starting XI for today’s Scottish Cup Quarter-Final against Rangers; 5.30pm kick-off at Easter Road.
The first change sees Chris Cadden make his first start of the 2023/24 campaign after his long-term injury lay-off. He comes in for Lewis Miller who is unavailable for today's game due to injury.
The second change is also enforced as Dylan Vente drops out of the matchday squad after picking up a knock. He’s replaced by Nectar Triantis who could once again feature in a deeper midfield role this afternoon.
David Marshall starts in goal with Chris Cadden at right-back, Jordan Obita at left-back, and Rocky Bushiri and Will Fish as our centre-halves.
Triantis is expected to play in the deeper midfield role alongside Nathan Moriah-Welsh and Joe Newell, who captains the Hibees today.
With a front three of Martin Boyle, who bagged a hat-trick in our last cup meeting with the Gers, Myziane Maolida, and Emiliano Marcondes.
16-year-old Rory Whittaker and Jair Tavares return to the substitutes’ bench.
Alongside Miller and Triantis, Montgomery is without the injured Luke Amos, Josh Campbell, and Jake Doyle-Hayes.
