We're back on Scottish Cup duty this weekend as we take on Rangers in the Quarter-Finals - read the full match preview below!

THE LOWDOWN

It is another huge game for the Hibees as Rangers visit Easter Road in the Quarter-Finals of the Scottish Cup - kick-off at 5:30pm on Sunday 10 March.

Nick Montgomery's side come into this one off the back of an improved run of form, which has seen us go unbeaten in our last five matches (all comps).

Both our Scottish Cup matches have been on the road this year, beating Forfar Athletic (1-0) in the Fourth Round, before a 3-1 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Highlands.

TEAM NEWS

There are no fresh injury concerns ahead of the weekend. Following a busy schedule last week - which included three games in just over seven days - the Hibees have had a full week to prepare for this one.

Nick Montgomery got match minutes in the legs of Paul Hanlon, Lewis Stevenson, Chris Cadden, Nectar Triantis, Eliezer Mayenda and Jair Tavares who all featured for the Hibernian Dev Squad in midweek.

Luke Amos is doubtful for Sunday, whilst Josh Campbell and Jake Doyle-Hayes remain longer-term absentees.

THE VISITORS

Rangers come into this one off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Motherwell in the cinch Premiership, ending a 10-match winning run in all competitions.

The Gers beat Dumbarton (4-1) before overcoming Ayr at Ibrox (2-0) in their opening two rounds of the Scottish Cup.

The last time two sides met in a cup competition was back in November 2021, with Martin Boyle's first half hat-trick proving to much for Rangers in the League Cup Semi-Final.

Our last match with Rangers in Scottish Cup was on that infamous day at Hampden Park on 21st May 2016...
