The wee Hibees fell to a disappointing defeat to Edinburgh rivals Heart of Midlothian on Friday evening.
Darren McGregor’s young Hibs side lost 2-1 on the night against our city rivals at HTC.
The visitors took the lead inside six minutes after the Hibs defence failed to deal with a ball across the six yard boxes, with the ball falling to a maroon shirt and the striker making no mistake.

Chances were few and far between in the opening 45, but Hearts doubled their lead ten minutes into the second half – with a cross-come-shot that sneaked in at the back post.
The Hibees pulled one back from the spot after Owen Calder was fouled in the area. Alfie Smith made no mistake smashing the ball down the middle.
Hibs pushed for an equaliser as the game progressed in the second half, with the referee waving away a couple of penalty shouts, but in the end it wasn’t to be and we fell to a narrow defeat.
