Dylan Levitt was delighted with our 2-0 victory over Ross County as the Hibees rounded off an important week with another three points.
Second half goals Myziane Maolida and Dylan Levitt sealed the points for the Hibees in what was a dominant second-half display from Nick Montgomery’s side.
The result moved us up into the top half of the table, picking up seven points out of a possible nine in the last week.
Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, Dylan told us how happy he was with the result.
“That felt really good, the game was a bit slow at times – but the second half was more open and that suited us well. We began to move the ball quickly and created a lot of chances – overall it was a good three points to finish the week.
“The week has given the lads a lot of confidence. I missed out on the game against Dundee, but we played really well against Hearts, probably deserved the victory and then finished the off the week with another three points today.”
Levitt came on at half-time, and clearly made an impact – playing a part in Myziane’s opening goal before scoring the second himself.

“(At half-time) The Gaffer told me to get on the ball and play forward, and to switch the ball to Millsy because he was getting a lot of space in the first half and we didn’t find him in the first half. He just told me to keep moving the ball and the gaps would appear.
“For my goal, I picked up a second ball from a header and picked out Elie out wide. I just carried on my run, he dragged two defenders out which opened up the space for me in the middle. He played it back to me, I took a touch – I could hear Alfie shouting at side of me – but I saw an opening in the bottom corner and I managed to put it in there.
“I really enjoyed it – it was one of those games where you need a second goal to seal the victory.”
