Hibernian Community Foundation are offering their largest Hibs Heroes Holiday Camp provision to date, creating an opportunity for over 300 young people to keep active this Easter!
The Hibernian Community Foundation have expanded their holiday camps offering two new sessions to keep more young people active over the Spring.
The creation of Mini Hibees for children aged 3-5 years, and Train Like a Pro for children aged 9-14 years, has created an expansion within their camp which now stretches for young people between the age of three and 14 years old.
Hibs Heroes is the action-packed holiday provision which gives children the opportunity to stay physically active, make friends and learn new skills through a variety of challenges and games in a positive learning environment - with over 800 young people attend since its inception in 2023.
This April, children will be able to engage with the Hibernian brand and attend a camp at one of five locations across the city.
The Foundation has continued to develop their services and are delighted to be making an impact within Edinburgh for the upcoming holidays. Creating opportunities for further age groups has seen their Hibs Heroes intake almost triple in size, with only 120 places available in 2023.
Head of Football for the Foundation, Paul Greig, commented:
“We are all excited to expand our Hibs Heroes Holiday Camp offerings across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
“The Foundation has put in an incredible amount of work to continue our development and the creation of new products will positively impact a large number of young people.
“Out of the 300 spaces available we are delighted to say that 35% of these will be offered free of charge to families living in our local communities who might not otherwise have been able to attend.”
