We are back at Easter Road this weekend as we take on Ross County in the cinch Premiership - read the full match preview below!

THE LOWDOWN

With just six games to go between now and the split, Nick Montgomery will be looking for another three points this weekend as we enter a crucial period of fixtures.

We come into this one off the back of a 1-1 draw at Tynecastle in midweek. The Hibees battled bravely against our Edinburgh rivals, dominating large spells of the game and creating plenty of chances, but in the end both teams had to settle for a share of the spoils.

That result meant we moved within one point of the top six, closing the gap on Dundee who sit one place above us.

TEAM NEWS

There are no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday's match with Ross County. Luke Amos missed the Edinburgh Derby with a knock and will be assessed ahead of the weekend.

Both Jake Doyle-Hayes and Josh Campbell will miss this one through injury, whilst Chris Cadden is continuing his return to full match fitness. Nick Montgomery will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the media on Friday.

THE VISITORS

Ross County currently sit 11th in the cinch Premiership on 23 points from 27 games.

The Staggies' form has improved in recent weeks however, picking up four points from their last two matches - beating Livingston (3-2) before drawing 1-1 with St Mirren in midweek.

Both those results came under Interim Manager, Don Cowie, who was appointed following Derek Adams' departure in early February.

The last time the two sides played was back in October, 2023 with the match ending in a 2-2 draw at Easter Road.
