Myziane Maolida became the Nick Montgomery’s first signing as Hibs boss, with the forward joining on loan from Hertha Berlin.
The forward brings with him a wealth of experience and ability having come through the Lyon Academy, playing in the Europa League, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga with the likes of Lyon, Nice and Hertha Berlin.
Myziane made his debut against Rangers at Easter Road, before scoring his first goal for the Club, coming off the bench to score the equaliser at Kilmarnock in a 2-2 draw.

Montgomery added further reinforcements in the forward areas with Emiliano Marcondes joining on loan from AFC Bournemouth.

Marcondes comes with excellent pedigree, having won the Danish Superliga with with FC Midtjylland, and helping both Brentford and AFC Bournemouth win promotion to the English Premier League.
The creative forward, impressed off the bench against Rangers on debut – before playing the full 90 minutes at Rugby Park in what was another excellent individual performance.
In the middle of midfielder, there were two new additions to the First Team squad with Luke Amos (below) and Nathan Moriah-Welsh both joining the Club on permanent transfers.

After a successful trial-period with the Hibees, Luke Amos penned an 18-month deal until summer 2025!
At the age of 26, Amos arrives in his prime having graduated from the Spurs Academy before making over 100 senior appearances across the top four Division in England, including Spurs, QPR, Southend and Stevenage.
The Hibees got a glimpse of Luke for the first time off the bench against Rangers, before coming off the bench in the second half at Kilmarnock.
The other midfielder, who joined the Hibees in January was dynamic midfielder Nathan Moriah-Welsh.

A powerful, energetic midfielder with an eye for picking a pass, 21-year-old Nathan Moriah-Welsh swapped the south coast of England for the Scottish Capital – joining the Hibees on a two-a-half year deal from AFC Bournemouth.
Moriah-Welsh is also capped at international level, having represented the Guyana National Team 14 times during his career so far.
There were three new arrivals on Deadline Day – with Nectarios Triantis, Owen Bevan and Eliezer Mayenda joining the Club on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign.
Talented youngsters Triantis (20) and Mayenda (18) both joined from Sunderland, swapping Wearside from the Scottish Capital in a search for more playing time.
This will be the second time Nectarios Triantis has played for Hibs Head Coach, Nick Montgomery – with the centre-back playing a huge part in the Montgomery’s Central Coast A-League title-winning team last season.

In the final few minutes of Deadline Day, Eliezer Mayenda (pictured below) also penned a loan move from Sunderland till the end of the season. The Spanish youth international, has plenty of potential with Montgomery describing the new recruit as “a powerful, attacking player with lots of energy who can play both centrally and out-wide.”

Montgomery also added more strength and depth to the heart of the defence with the loan signing of Owen Bevan till the end of the season from AFC Bournemouth.
The 20-year-old made his English Premier League debut for Bournemouth last season, before enhancing his development out on loan at Cheltenham and Yeovil Town.

Following a successful loan spell at Airdrieonians, Kanayo Megwa was recalled by the Hibees and started both matches against Rangers and Kilmarnock in January.

The January Window also saw several exit deals completed – both on loan and permanent transfers.
Before the window opened, the Hibees waved goodbye to Elias Melkersen who – after two years at the Club – left to join Norwegian side Strømsgodset on a permanent transfer in early December.
Christian Doidge also called time on his time at Hibernian FC, joining his former club – Forest Green Rovers on a permanent transfer. During his four and a half years in Leith, the forward scored 43 times in 148 competitive appearances, and became a fond personality among the fan-base.

Fellow forward, Harry McKirdy also departed, joining his former club, Swindon Town on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign.
Montgomery explained Harry’s departure as a good opportunity to rebuild his confidence following a successful recovery from heart surgery in the summer. He said:
“Harry has worked very hard to get back on the pitch and after everything he has been through, he is now in a good place.
“When the interest came for Harry, we had a good conversation and we felt that it would be a good opportunity for him to get more game-time than what was potentially on offer here.”

The window also saw the departure of Jimmy Jeggo, who returned back to Australia to join Melbourne City on a permanent deal. During his year-long spell with the Club, the 31-year-old went on to make 45 appearances in all competitions.

There were also loan moves for Riley Harbottle (Colchester United) Max Boruc (Arbroath) and Allan Delferrière (MFK Vyškov) who all left the Club to continue their development and gain more experience playing senior football.
Elsewhere, Dylan Tait left his loan spell at Hamilton Academical to join cinch League One leaders, Falkirk FC for the remainder of the season. Whilst youngsters Robbie Hamilton (East Fife), Reuben McAllister (Kelty Hearts) and Malik Zaid (Edinburgh City) all left on loan spells to gain further experience playing senior football in Scotland.
