Following last night’s 2-0 defeat at Oriam, Joelle Murray spoke to Hibs TV.
“It’s unacceptable for a Hibs team – wearing this crest, wearing these colours it’s unacceptable. We didn’t do the basics right, and we continued to do them wrong after Hearts went down to 10 players.”
Murray believes they were too easily frustrated during the match:
“When Hearts received the red card there was plenty time to go in and change the game around. For some reason we started forcing things, our decision making was poor, we weren’t playing into space, we were forcing the ball into congested areas.
“That frustration is something we need to nullify because we got frustrated far too early, we were playing like it was the last five minutes of the game for so long.”“We’ve got a really good squad in terms of depth in quality.” She added.
“Regardless of who was injured tonight, the players on the pitch were more than capable of competing and we certainly didn’t do that.
“Again, it’s a massive frustration and a very disappointed dressing room.”
