The 16-year-old signed his first professional contract with the Club earlier this year and has gone from strength to strength this season.
The versatile defender has featured for both the U18s and Development Squad for the Hibees this season and his performances earned him his first U17 Scotland call-up earlier in August.
McGrath has now joined up with Brian McLaughlin’s squad as they begin their Under-17 2024 European Championship qualifying campaign.
The young Scots have been drawn in Group 7 and will play Belarus, Kazakhstan, and hosts Turkey in the space of a week in Manavgat.
The top two sides - and five of the best third-placed sides - will advance to the Elite Round which will take place early in the new year, before the Finals take place in Cyprus next May.
The Scots will be hoping to qualify for the tournament for the third successive year, having featured in the Championships in Israel 2022 and Hungary 2023 – with Rudi Molotnikov, Owen Hastie and Jacob MacIntyre all representing the Scots in Hungary.
