The Hibees travel to Tynecastle in the cinch Premiership with both teams coming into the game in good form.
When speaking to Hibs TV ahead of the game, Montgomery spoke of his excitement.
“I can’t wait for it. We’ve had a good week of preparation on the training ground and the boys are ready. I’m sure the fans are ready.
“The boys are really looking forward to the Derby tomorrow, it will be an electric atmosphere and two good teams will be battling it out for bragging rights, which adds an extra bit of spice to it.”

Having played over 550 matches and battled in the fierce Sheffield and Sydney rivalries, our Head Coach is more than accustomed to these kinds of games.
“It’s about controlling the emotions,” revealed Montgomery. “In terms of preparation to the game, it’s still a game of football, there’s three points at stake and the ball is still round.
“The atmosphere will be electric, the fans are desperate for us to win, we’re taking a big crowd, and I’m really looking forward to seeing our fans in full voice.”
With a full week of preparation for this game, ‘Monty’ and his players have been working seriously on the training pitch. He detailed how valuable this week has been.
“Reality is this has been our second full week of training. It has given us the opportunity to have a bounce game where we gave a few of the boys 90 minutes; Dylan Levitt, Alan Delferriere, Josh Campbell, and young Rory all benefitted from that.
“On the training ground, it was a real opportunity to focus on how we want to play, not just for this weekend, but for the rest of the season.”
