Robert Begbie has extensive executive leadership experience and is currently the CEO of NatWest Commercial & Institutional business.
He has been with the NatWest Group for over 40 years and during his career has built many successful businesses.
Robert has been a Hibs supporter all his life and a season ticket holder for many years.
Scott Fraser joins the Board with a strong football and property background. After his football career ended in the mid 1990s, Fraser became involved in property investment and co-founded McEwan Fraser as well as McEwan Fraser Legal (who were the Club's main sponsor between 2008 and 2010).
After selling his McEwan Fraser shareholding in 2015, Scott continued to run his own property consultancy business and more recently has held Non-Executive Director positions with both Coulters Property and Gilson Gray.
Born in Leith, Scott grew up a Hibee and has held a Season Ticket for over 30 years alongside his mum and brother.
The Club can also confirm that Bruce Langham has departed his role as a Non-Executive Director.
Langham has served on the Board since June 2006 and had a wealth of expertise across a number of different areas. Everyone at the Club would like to thank Bruce for the impact he’s made over the last 17 years.
That means that Non-Executive Directors Robert Begbie, Scott Fraser, Gillian Hutchison, and Archie Paton currently sit on the Club’s Board, alongside Directors Kit Gordon and Ian Gordon, Non-Executive Chairman Malcolm McPherson, Non-Executive Vice Chairman Kathrin Hamilton, and Chief Executive Ben Kensell.
Following a recent routine internal audit of the Club’s corporate documentation, the Club identified certain discrepancies in the shareholder information presented at Companies House in its annual confirmation statements. As a result, the Club has taken the necessary steps to correct these discrepancies by filing corrective confirmation statements at Companies House on 27 November 2023.
