The Hibs centre midfielder pipped Elie Youan and Josh Campbell to the top-prize which was voted for by Hibernian FC supporters.

Joe has had a fantastic season this year, making 38 appearances this season for the Club - scoring three goals and contributing seven assists.

The 30-year-old has been a standout performer and also picked up the Men’s Player’s Player of the Year Award, voted for by his teammates.

It was also a successful night for Josh Campbell who was voted Men’s Young Player of the Year and picked up the Goal of the Season award for his stunning strike against Rangers back in August.

In the Women’s team, Lucy Parry claimed the top prize winning Women’s Player of the Year, with Eilidh Adam’s winning goal of the season for her brilliant solo effort versus Partick Thistle.

There was also special recognition for Hibernian FC legend, Lewis Stevenson – who became the Club’s record league appearance holder during the 2022/23 campaign.

Darren McGregor got a special mention following the announcement of his retirement earlier this year, whilst Kanayo Megwa was awarded Academy Player of the Year for a brilliant season for the Hibs Dev Squad and U19s in the UEFA Youth League.
