THE LOWDOWN
Hibernian Women travel to New Douglas Park this Sunday to take on Hamilton Academical in SWPL 1 action – kick-off 4:00pm.
The midweek draw with Aberdeen Women at Meadowbank Stadium means that Dean Gibson’s side remain 5th in the SWPL 1 table, five points behind Hearts Women in 5th.
Following the result against Aberdeen Women, Spartans Women – currently 6th in the SWPL 1 – have closed the gap on Hibs Women to just three points, making Sunday's clash with Hamilton Women crucial for the Hibees.
THE OPPOSITION
Hamilton Women are currently 11th in the SWPL 1 table on 13 points – two points behind Aberdeen Women in 10th.
Hibs Women and Hamilton Women have met each other on two occasions already this season. The first was back on August 14th in SWPL 1 action where the Hibees picked up a 4-0 win. The second encounter came on October 2nd in a Sky Sports Cup clash where Hibs Women would secure an emphatic 8-0 victory.
Dean Gibson and his side will be hoping to keep up their impressive record against Hamilton Women when the two sides meet for a third time this season on Sunday.
