Rosie Livingstone would also grab a couple of goals, with Lockwood, Tweedie and McAlonie also appearing on the scoresheet.

Hibs would begin the game the brighter of the two sides, with the first attack resulting in the first goal of the afternoon. Despite having the ball cleared off the line, Rosie Livingstone tapped the rebound after a corner was floated in brilliantly by Leah Eddie.

Michaela McAlonie would come near a couple of minutes later. Her low effort from the edge of the box narrowly missing the post.

Not content with one goal, Livingstone came close to getting a second just after the 10-minute mark. With a fantastic solo run leaving her with plenty of space down the right flank, her powerful effort was parried away for a corner.

Lockwood, Nunn and Morrison would all come close, with the Glasgow’s Reeve managing to pull off a trio of impressive saves to keep the score line to a minimum.

Another corner would result in another goal. Katie Lockwood would convert this time after a stramash in the box led to a rebound falling to the striker. Clinical as ever, her effort was stabbed into the back of the net.

With Glasgow rarely getting out of their half, Hibs were still in complete control after 40 minutes.

This action would bring the first half to a close, as Hibs dominated the early stages of the match.

The Hibees kicked off in the second half and would continue to over-run Glasgow on either side. Livingstone and Nunn would both provide more fantastic solo runs but failed to convert.

The first set of changes would see Nunn and Nor brought off in favour of Adams and Boyle, the latter would make her first appearance for Hibernian since January 2022 after returning to football from pregnancy for the second time.

The number 23 would have an immediate impact. After Rosie Livingstone fancied her chances from the edge of the box, Boyle would pick up on the parried effort, and fire into the net with her first touch of the game – a goal which was met with immense delight from fans.

Further changes would be made after 72 minutes with Hunter, Tweedie and Hinds all coming on, as the trio replaced Morrison, Lockwood and Leishman.

The subs would continue to cause problems for Glasgow, Hunter had an effort from 30 yards fizz narrowly over the bar, before Tweedie grabbed her first competitive goal of the season on 75 minutes.

Hinds trademark run down the flank saw her in a brilliant position at the by-line to cross into Tweedie. Finding a Glasgow defender instead, the ball was diverted goal-wards, with the number 15 getting a touch as it crossed the line.

A fifth would land for the Hibees on 80 minutes. Michaela’s low effort from the edge of the box squirmed underneath the Glasgow goalkeeper.

A contentious tackle on Hunter saw a penalty given to Hibs. After a painful collision with an opponent, the stretcher was brought on, and our number 4 was taken off.

Rachel Boyle stepped up to take the spot kick, aimed to her left, and scored Hibs’ sixth on 89 minutes.

A seventh arrived for Hibs a couple of minutes into added time. Livingstone grabbed her second of the game with a header after a brilliant cross by Leah Eddie.

A final shot by McAlonie cannoned off Reeve and brought the game to a close.
