We started the month in the same fashion as we ended the previous – with a large, emphatic victory. Defeating Hamilton Academical in the final days of October, Eilidh Adams hat-trick set us up for another goal fest against Montrose.

We would go one better in this game, keeping a clean sheet whilst scoring another 8. Shannon McGregor scored the opener with a terrific half-volley, but Abbie Ferguson’s five-star performance and four-goal haul earned the youngster a star mention in the SWPL Team of The Week. Eilidh Adams would also score again whilst an OG would cap off the month’s opening match in Angus.

Next up, we faced Dundee United at Meadowbank in the Sky Sports Cup quarter-final on November 12th. Whilst we struggled to take our chances in our league encounter earlier in the season – we were ruthless in front of goal this time around.

Eilidh Adams scored ANOTHER 3 times to mark her 100th appearance for the club, making that three hat-tricks on the bounce for the club, but Grant Scott likely faced a selection headache as Jorian Bacucom added another brace. Ellis Notley also grabbed her first of the season all before Lauren Doran-Barr rounded off the scoring, getting her first goal for the club and seeing Hibernian through to the semi-finals of the League Cup.

Whilst we returned to SWPL1 action the following Saturday– we collected another trophy in the form of the Capital Cup, facing off against Hearts in the Edinburgh Derby at a rousy Easter Road. Leah Eddie became another member of the centenary club as she led the side out, and Jorian Baucom’s quickfire second half double saw us clinch our second derby win of the season.

Rounding off November, we travelled cross-city to face Spartans at Ainslie Park. Although we fell behind in the first half – our spirit across the month shone through as we quickly regained the initiative through Leah Eddie’s equaliser before Jorian Baucom’s piledriving volley imitated Shannon McGregor’s effort against Montrose. Abbie Ferguson would further the lead in the second half, capping off a fantastic month for her before Ellis Notley grabbed the final goal of the month in the 65th minute.

In all, across November we netted 21 goals across four matches, with eight different names (plus an own goal) making their way onto the scoresheet.

Whilst an international break delays our first game in December, we will return to action to welcome champions Glasgow City to Meadowbank on December 10th.
