By Hibernian FC

The Hibees take on Aston Villa in the Play-Off Round of the competition. The first leg kicks off at 5:45pm at Easter Road.

Supporters are reminded of the strict liability rules governing UEFA matches where the Club will be held responsible for any breach of the regulations by supporters.

The use of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited inside the stadium and each pyro set-off results in the Club facing sanctions under the competition rules.

From the last home game v FC Luzern, we have been fined €3,000 following the irresponsible actions of one individual. Your Club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from the communication we have received since that game, supporters don’t want this.

The stadium CCTV is still being reviewed following this match and if that person is identified we will have no hesitation in banning the individual from attending all matches involving Hibernian as well as passing the details on to Police Scotland.

Walkways must be kept clear, and you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a UEFA requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.

Finally, the playing surface is for the players. Any spectator entering the track or field of play again will result in sanctions taken against the Club by UEFA. Any individual who does enter the pitch or trackside, regardless of age, will face sanction by the Club that will include an indefinite ban from attending matches at Easter Road or from purchasing tickets involving the Club.

We ask you to think about your actions, before, during and after the match and please don’t be that person!

SEGREGATION

Due to the segregation requirements around this match, Hibernian Supporters in the South Stand are asked to access this Stand from Hawkhill Avenue and the rear of the East Stand.

Similarly, at the end of the game it is likely that all Supporters will be asked to exit via the East Stand into Hawkhill Avenue with segregation barriers in place at the rear of the South Stand.

Those supporters accessing the Upper Tier of the South Stand should do so through Turnstiles 1 and 2. Those seated in the Lower Tier should access via Turnstiles 3 and 4.

In addition, supporters in the East Stand are advised that the gate at the South-East corner will be closed for access and exit so those in the East Stand should only be accessed via Hawkhill Avenue.

It is also likely that Police barriers will be in place in Albion Road and Albion Place at the end of the match. Those wishing to disperse quickly after the match are advised to do so via St Clair Street or towards Hawkhill Avenue.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding as these measures are in the interest of the safety of all spectators attending the match.

Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, Stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
