Linn Botanical Gardens, Martin Ewart, Lindsay Gold, Leslie Robb, Hibernian Supporters Limited, JB Contracts, Pilot Beer, and MGM Timber all showed their support by becoming a huge part of Hibs 25 – an event that celebrated the success and history of the Club’s Women’s Team.

Earlier this month, Hibernian FC held a special event to celebrate the anniversary of 25 years of the Women’s Team. The Hibs 25 event provided an opportunity to reflect on the advancements made in women’s football at Hibernian FC over the past 25 years and anticipate a promising future for the sport. In addition to celebrating the Women’s Team’s accomplishments, the event also recognised the dedication and efforts of all those who have played a role in developing women’s football at Hibernian FC.

The event was attended by current and former players, coaches, and staff, as well as fans and members of the community who have supported women’s football at the Club. The host for the event was Eilidh Barbour, a proficient sports presenter and reporter, who also previously played semi-professional football for Partick Thistle. During the event, guests were treated to drinks provided by Pilot beer, a three-course meal, and an interview with former Hibs Women’s Manager, Willie Kirk. Hibs 25 also featured speeches from notable figures in women’s football at Hibernian FC, and the event concluded with the revelation of the all-time Hibernian women starting 11 which was voted by over 3,000 fans. The captaincy award went to Joelle Murray, a record appearance Hibernian FC legend.

Also three members of the Women's advisory board, Martin Ewart, Lindsay Gold and Leslie Robb became Hibs 25 founding members.
On becoming a founding member Martin Ewart said: "It’s wonderful to be one of the founding members of Hibs 25. The club has such a heritage in Women’s football, we want to help them continue at the forefront for many years. The energy and success of the evening simply underlined that. The feedback we got from the people at the event was universally positive. They loved it. We wanted to find a way of connecting with the team and this member club was the perfect way to do it. We got to meet the players, support the event, and start to build a longer-lasting relationship to help the women’s team evolve. It feels like the next chapter of an important journey, and it’s great to be part of it."
Lindsay Gold, also a founding member and on the Women's advisory board, added: "I was delighted to be a founding sponsor for the Hibs 25 event in celebration of 25 years of Women’s Football at Hibernian FC. I’m fortunate to be on the Women’s Board and I’m really enjoying the challenge and journey to professionalise the current set-up. We have been working hard to bolster the Management Team with a full-time Assistant Manager and S&C Coach and we hope the funds raised from this fantastic event will help towards a pre-season trip for the ladies in preparation for next season too. Hibs 25 was a fantastic evening and a true celebration of the successful Hibernian Women’s teams and players, both past and present. The bond and sense of belonging amongst the girls (and in the room) was palpable."
