Ryan Porteous was called up to Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad ahead of their UEFA Nations League triple-header.
Porto was an unused substitute as the Scots triumphed 3-0 over Ukraine on Wednesday night. Former Hibee, John McGinn and Lyndon Dykes scored the goals in a convincing win at Hampden Park.

Porteous could make his international debut when Scotland host the Republic of Ireland on Saturday (7:45pm kick-off) before a trip to Poland to play Ukraine on Tuesday 27 September (7:45pm kick-off).

Momodou marked his debut for the U23s with a goal – calmly converting from the penalty spot to give his side the advantage away from home.
The Hibs frontman is likely to be involved again in the return leg on Tuesday 27 September (kick-off at 19:00).

The young Scots lost 2-0 in their opening match of the Slovenia Nations Cup. Up next, the Scots play Malta on Friday (2:30pm kick-off) before taking on the USA on Tuesday (4pm kick-off).
