The Wee Hibees will be looking to bounce back after their 2-1 defeat to Rangers last week.

Jacob MacIntyre’s equaliser was in vain as a 55th-minute penalty put Rangers in front; the Glasgow side managed to see out the remaining 35 minutes and claim all three points.

Our game against Hearts will be the Wee Hibees' third game of the season, having beaten St Mirren 5-2 before losing last week.

THE VISITORS

Our Edinburgh rivals Hearts have played five fixtures in the CAS Elite U18 Youth league.

Four of those matches have ended in defeat against Celtic (2-1), Motherwell (3-2), Aberdeen (4-0) and Rangers (3-0).

The wee Jambos only victory came against Hamilton Academical, winning 2-1 at New Douglas Park back in August.

HIBEES IN EUROPE

Following the Derby, the wee Hibees have the UEFA Youth League competition to look forward to. Having been crowned domestic champions in the 2021/22 season, the squad have been drawn against Norwegian club, Molde FK in the First Round of the U19 Youth League.

The first leg takes place in Norway on Wednesday 14 September before the return leg at Easter Road on Wednesday 5 October.

HOW TO WATCH

The match kicks off at 7:0pm on Friday 9 September at Hibernian Training Centre. Supporters from both sets of fans are welcome to come and watch free of charge.
