The Ukrainian U21 international will join us for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign on loan from French Ligue 1 side ES Troyes AC, subject to international clearance and work permit approval.

ES Troyes AC joined the City Football Group in 2020 and have been working closely with Manchester City to develop the best young talent from around Europe.

After signing a long-term deal with ES Troyes AC, the 21-year-old has featured against Champions League sides like PSG and Club Brugge. Alongside this, he has spent the last 14-months on loan at Oud-Heverlee (OH) Leuven in Belgium.

The big, strong centre-forward has made four appearances in the Jupiler Pro League this season, building on from First Team minutes in the same division last season.

He has also earned 12 caps for Ukraine’s Under-21s and scored three goals.

On his arrival, Manager Lee Johnson commented: “We’re really happy to welcome Mykola Kukharevych to Hibernian FC for the upcoming campaign.

“He’s a young striker that has gained minutes at a high level, and we believe he has all the attributes to be a real success in the Scottish game.

“Mykola is a different profile to the other strikers we have in the building, and we look forward to working with him.”
