Gareth Evans' side got their revenge after losing 2-1 against the Gers earlier this season at HTC.
Josh Landers bagged a first-half brace and Freddie Owens saved a Rangers penalty to give the wee Hibees a well-deserved three points this time around in Glasgow.
Landers - who played twice for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League campaign - got the wee Hibees off to a brilliant start. He combined well with Rudi Molotnikov, latching onto a through ball a finishing smartly at the near post to give the Hibees the perfect start.
Hibs doubled their lead moments later, Ethan Laidlaw did will to close down the Rangers 'keeper and block his clearance - the ball falling directly into the path of Landers who tapped in for 2-0.
The hosts had a chance to get themselves back into the game when they were awarded a penalty just before the break.
But Hibs goalkeeper Freddie Owens pulled off an excellent save to deny Rangers and maintain the two-goal cushion.
Gareth Evans' side managed the game well in the second half, dominating possession and restricting the host's opportunities to a minimum - picking up an impressive clean sheet on the road and three important points.
