The Hibees will be hoping to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Norway and the striker insists home advantage will play its part.

The match takes place on Wednesday 5 October, kick-off at 7pm at Easter Road.

Speaking to Hibs TV ahead of the tie, Josh said:

“The boys are all buzzing for it. We are all really looking forward to it and we hope we can get a lot of fans down to Easter Road to support us.

“We’re all young boys so we will thrive off the crowd. The more people that are in the Stadium the better for us, the lads will get a buzz off that.

“On the night, the fans can be that 12th man for us, if we need that extra boost – the fans will be there to help us.”

Steve Kean’s side will need to overturn a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg in Norway.

A second-half free-kick from Johan Bakke proved to be the difference between the sides as Molde U19s ran out narrow 1-0 winners in the first leg of our UEFA Youth League tie.

Josh is confident the wee Hibees will have what it takes to get a positive result on Wednesday.

“We have done a lot of work in training in the lead-up to this one, we’ve been working on our shape, we’ve been focussed on what we need to improve on ourselves and it is all gearing up to Wednesday night – hopefully we can come back with a win.

“We learned a lot about Molde from the first leg. We learned a lot about their strengths and their weaknesses too.

“We need to make sure we give it 100% on Wednesday, if we work hard together then I am sure our talent will shine through.”

There is a special feeling among this group of players, insists Josh. Many of the current squad have been with the Club for several years and the team has achieved a lot together so far.

Last season, the wee Hibees were crowned CAS U18 Elite Youth League Champions and consequently became the first ever Hibs youth team to compete in the UEFA Youth League.

“I have played with these boys for the last eight or nine years. We have all grown up together, and have played up the age groups together.

“We have a really good group together, when new players come in it is a very welcoming atmosphere and they fit in.

“On the pitch, that definitely shows – we all play with positively and with no fear. We will go into Wednesday’s match with the same attitude.”
