Alan Stubbs – who famously steered Hibernian to Scottish Cup glory in 2016 – will return to the home dugout at Easter Road to take charge of the Sauzée Select.
He will be assisted by another of those Hampden heroes, Darren McGregor, who is still an active member of the first-team playing squad in addition to his new role behind the scenes at HTC player/coach mentor within the Hibernian FC Academy.
Stubbs and McGregor will have two familiar faces in the opposite dugout, with HSF founders – and club stalwarts – Lewis Stevenson and Paul Hanlon looking after the HSF Select.

Former Hibs captains John Hughes and Ian Murray will also pull on the respective armbands, with Hughes captaining the Sauzée Select and Murray representing the HSF.
Upon his return to Easter Road, former Manager Alan Stubbs said: “I’m always delighted any time I get the chance to come back to Easter Road and this one will be particularly special.

“Everyone knows the admiration I have for Lewis and Paul – as players and people – so I had no hesitation when I was asked to help out the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation with The Match.
“It’ll be great to catch up with a few familiar faces and see supporters who always treated me and my family so well. Hopefully, there’s a big crowd on the day and we can raise as much money as possible for some really important local causes.”
Live Auction
The Hanlon Stevenson Foundation are hosting a live auction, which features some unique prizes and opportunities for you to get involved with The Match itself, whilst also supporting worthwhile causes.
The top prizes include the opportunity to join the coaching staff of both teams for the day and watch the action unfold from the dugout.
Other treasured lots include a sought-after Hibs personalised registration plate, VIP tickets to see Lewis Capaldi in concert and a chance to go for dinner with Lewis and Paul or join them for a few games of pool.
There are also special Franck Sauzée-related items; a framed signed shirt and the match ball Franck recently presented for the win over Motherwell.

Donate A Ticket
We hope to see as many supporters at Easter Road as possible on the day to enjoy an afternoon of entertaining football and a trip down memory lane – while raising much-needed funds in the process for some great causes.
HSF has committed to giving away 1000 tickets for The Match to Kicks For Kids and a range of other local groups.
We have been asked about an option to make remote donations by some supporters who will not make it along to Easter Road on the day. If that’s the position you’re in or you just fancy donating towards the cause then you can make a donation by CLICKING HERE!
