Speaking after putting pen to paper on a new contract, Morrison expressed her excitement at returning for another year with the club.

“It’s a great feeling. I’ve been at this club for a long time, so I’m looking forward to another year and looking forward to what that brings.

“There’s lots of changes coming, all for the good, so it’s a really exciting time to be a part of the club and I’m really looking forward to next season.”

Morrison is another product of the Hibs Player Pathway – joining the club at under-13 level, the winger is now a first team regular. She joins fellow academy graduates Joelle Murray, Ellis Notley, Eilidh Adams and Shannon Leishman in signing new deals at the club and has thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

“It’s brilliant! I came through the academy - been here for 10 years – and I’ve seen the club grow. It’s a great thing to be a part of. Now to be in the first team and watch the club grow even further, it’s great.

“It’s always a great feeling to play with players who you’ve known for a while and that you’ve come through the academy with, but it’s also exciting to see some new faces come and see what they can bring to the club.”
