This Sunday Hibernian Women will take a stance against the scenes of devastation in Ukraine. During this weekend's match, players and staff will wear the colours of the Ukrainian flag to show that we stand together with the rest of the football community to demonstrate support for the people of Ukraine.

We will have a bucket collection at the match on Sunday as well as a Just Giving page set up, from Monday, for people who cannot make it along to the game.

After the game has finished on Sunday, you can secure one of the player’s jerseys through our auction site. This will be through a mix of donations of £5 raffle as we will auction some jerseys through donations to the Just Giving page.

We want to play our part in solidarity with all Hibernian supporters in supporting the Dnipro Kids Appeal, the charity set up by Hibernian fans in 2005.

Ukraine needs our support, and we want to respond!

Dean Gibson has also shared his thoughts on Hibernian Women’s stance against the scenes of devastation that is going on in Ukraine.

“When Stewart (McGuire) told me this is what we were doing this week there was no conversation to be had. We are more than happy to be showing our support to Ukraine. It’s only a small gesture but when loads of small gestures happen all over the world, they turn into something big. It’s important the whole world shows that we are standing with the people of Ukraine during a horrendous time. Some things are bigger than football.”

Thank you to Hibernian Football Club, Pitch Team Wear and our sponsor MB Media for their support in helping us raise funds for Ukraine, “We Stand Together”.
