THE LOWDOWN
The match will take place at HTC on Friday 4 March, kick-off at 7.15pm.
There are several key players to look out for in Gareth Evans U18 squad, some of which you may have noticed around the senior squad of late.
Both Oscar MacIntyre (below) and Jacob Blaney have been on the bench for Shaun Maloney over the last few games, whilst the likes of Murray Johnson, Connor Young and Josh O’Connor have been performing well for the wee Hibees.

It’s been an incredibly strong campaign for our youngsters this campaign as they remain unbeaten in all competitions!
Currently going strong and challenging for the title in the league, the wee Hibees’ attentions are now firmly fixed on getting into the final of the Scottish Youth Cup to face Hearts.
After receiving a bye in the first round, we comfortably saw off Montrose in the second round with a resounding 7-0 victory at HTC.
In the third round the Wee Hibees made the trip to across the city to take on Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale and once again made light work of their opponents with a 5-0 win.

The quarter-final saw a tough test for Evans’ side as they took on Celtic, but a stunning 35-yard free-kick from Connor Young sealed the victory.
THE OPPOSITION
Up next, Rangers U18s at HTC. The Gers beat Queen of the South (5-0) and Elgin City (12-1) to progress into the quarter-finals.
They produced an excellent display to beat Aberdeen 4-1 at home.
PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Our Wee Hibees have faced Rangers on two occasions so far this season and ran out winners in them both.
The first meeting saw Evans’ side come from behind. Tyler Pasnik put the visitors in front with fewer than 10 minutes played before Josh O’Connor equalised on the half-hour mark. A Josh McCulloch deflected effort then turned the game on its head.
The most recent match against the Gers saw the Hibees put in a magnificent performance. Goals from Murray Aiken and Ethan Laidlaw put us ahead before Rangers pulled a goal back. Laidlaw then added his second, before another goal was pulled back. However, the win was sealed just before full-time after Connor Young tapped in from a swift counter-attack.
