The 21-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal, with the Club having the option to extend it for a further campaign.

Despite competing for Central Coast Mariners during the 2021/22 season and finishing in Opta's A-League Team of the Season, Miller will actually join Hibs from Australian side MacArthur FC. The defender signed a pre-contract with the Club prior to agreeing his switch to Scotland. The terms of the transfer will remain undisclosed.

Miller, who is currently on international duty with Australia’s Under-23s, has five caps for the young Aussies and has helped his side reach the quarter-final stage of the U23 Asia Cup.

The athletic right-back, who is equally as comfortable on the left, has made 56 career appearances to date after breaking through at the Central Coast Mariners.

On his arrival, Manager Lee Johnson said: “I’m delighted the Club have managed to secure Lewis. We have secured his services amongst fierce competition from interested parties in Scotland and across the globe.

“Lewis is a real competitor in his game style and is blessed with the physical and technical attributes to seamlessly fit into the way we work.

“Credit must go to Lewis also, as he decided to join Hibs for the right reasons. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do in a Hibs shirt.”

Head of Recruitment, Ian Gordon, added: “A lot of work has gone into bringing Lewis to the Club. He’s someone that really impressed in the A-League last season.

“This highlights our strategy of securing young, exciting talent from around the world and how we’re expanding our scouting network globally.

“The terms of this deal made it a no-brainer for us, as he has the attributes to fit into Lee Johnson’s system.”
