The 25-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal and the terms of his transfer will remain undisclosed.
Čabraja joins the Hibees with three honours under his belt; he lifted the Prva HNL (Croatian top-flight) title and the Hrvatski nogometni kup (Croatian Cup) with Dinamo Zagreb in 2020/21 and was part of the Ferencváro side that won the Hungarian top-flight.
He spent last season on loan with Ferencváro and Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia. During his time in Hungary, he featured in the Europa League against the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Real Betis.
The versatile left-sided man has also been capped by Croatia from Under-14s through to Under-21s.
On his arrival, Manager Lee Johnson said: “We are delighted to welcome Marijan to Hibernian FC and look forward to working with him.
“He has history of playing at a very high level and is the perfect age to add to our group.
“He’s athletic, a really technical left-back who has quality on the ball through his delivery and distribution. He will add strength to our group.”

Head of Recruitment, Ian Gordon, added: “Squad planning is always at the forefront of our minds and knowing there’s been interest in Josh Doig for a prolonged period, Marijan is someone we’ve been looking at very closely.
“He has experience of playing European football, has good pedigree, and is someone we believe can hit the ground running straight away.”
