Josh Campbell and Elias Melkersen both chipped in with a goal apiece alongside Doidgey’s treble to complete the first-half route against Clyde in the Premier Sports Cup.
This afternoon's hat-trick was Doidge's third for the Club since he joined in 2019, and it came in the space of just 13 minutes.

Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, Doidge told us how happy he was to be back on the scoresheet.
"It was a hat-trick but it wasn't perfect", the striker laughed.
"The first one was a bit scrappy, the ball took a deflection and was spinning towards me so I just tried to get the biggest object in front of it - I got my chest in the way of it and put it in.

"The second was a great pass by Jake, and I finished it off - that was probably the best out of the three.
"And the last was a typical scrappy goal that I normally do."
The goals come at an ideal time for the 29-year-old, as the 2022/23 league season draws closer and Doidge is confident he can hit regain the goalscoring form that Hibs fans fondly associate him with.
"It has probably been the perfect pre-season for me in terms of workload. I have really enjoyed it and I feel fit.
"This time last year I was in bed with Covid so it is nice to be involved with the lads, so I am just hoping for a clean season now where I can be fully fit and ready to go.
"We created a lot of chances today and probably could’ve got a few more goals. We were relentless with our attack and there were some really big performances in there.
"It was a professional, competitive game so everyone is delighted that we got the win and we have another important game again on Tuesday against Falkirk."
