The match will take place today (Friday 1 July, 2022) at Foresters Park with a 19:30 kick-off.
The game carries extra significance as it will celebrate the life of former Hibs and Tranent Juniors player, Daniel McFarlane, who tragically died in June 2021.
The former Ross High School pupil was a naturally gifted football player and will be remembered with a minute’s applause that will take place in the 36th minute to celebrate Daniel’s life.
Supporters from both Hibernian FC and Tranent Juniors are welcome to turn up and attend the match. Tickets will be priced at £5 for concessions and £10 for adults with all gate proceeds being donated to Daniel’s wife Ria and their young daughter, Frankie.
This is the first of six pre-season friendlies Steve Kean's Hibs Dev Squad will play in July. The team will host Sheffield United and Norwich City and face trips to Preston Athletic, Newtongrange Star, and Dunbar United.
