THE LOWDOWN
After two home matches in a row we are back on our travels as we face Dundee at the Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park on Wednesday evening; kick-off at 7:45pm.
Momentum is building in the right direction for The Hibees after a good run of form towards the end of February.
After beating Arbroath in the Scottish Cup, we picked up four points from our last two league matches; winning 2-0 against Ross County before our goalless draw with Celtic on Sunday.
That point meant that we moved back up to fourth in the cinch Premiership, alongside Dundee United and Motherwell on 35 points.
Dundee are currently rooted to the bottom of the table on 21 points, two points behind St Johnstone but with a game in hand.
TEAM NEWS
Shaun Maloney's absentee list currently includes nine First Team players. The latest of which is Kevin Nisbet - who limped off against Celtic in the first half and is currently being assessed.

Elias Melkerson and James Scott both missed out at the weekend due to illness. Longer-term absentees include Paul Hanlon, Joe Newell, Harry Clarke, Kyle Magennis and Demetri Mitchell.
Teenagers Jacob Blaney and Oscar MacIntyre were on the bench again for the second week in a row. Alongside new Development Squad signing, Allan Delferriere, who was included in the First Team squad for his first time. All three are in contention to make the bench on Wednesday.
THE HOSTS
New Manager, Mark McGhee, watched his side lose 4-0 at home to Livingston in what was his second match in charge of the club at the weekend.
McGhee replaced James McPake in February after an inconsistent run of form saw the former Hibs defender lose his job.
Dundee have won just one of their last 12 fixtures in the cinch Premiership.
However, the hosts did cause Celtic a scare in McGhee's first match in charge, scoring two goals at Celtic Park but ultimately coming up short in the end and losing 3-2.

HEAD TO HEAD
Our head-to-head record with Dundee is encouraging - we are currently unbeaten in our last 12 matches with the Tayside club, a run that stretches back to 2012.
The last time we played Dundee was back in December 2021 at Easter Road. Paul McMullan's own goal was the difference on the day as we ran out 1-0 winners under Interim Manager, David Gray.

Our last trip to the Kilmac Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw with Martin Boyle and Ryan Porteous grabbing the goals back in August.
