After a goalless first-half, we came out flying in the second and broke the deadlock through Jake Doyle-Hayes in the 49th minute.
The ball broke to the Irishman on the edge of the box and Jake connected sweetly, firing past Ross Laidlaw to gives us the lead.
Shaun Maloney's men continued to create chances and push for a second goal. Ewan Henderson and Ryan Porteous both went close before Jake Doyle-Hayes put the game to bed with his second goal of the game - an wonderful volley from outside the box.
Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, Jake told us how delighted he was to get his first goals for the club.
"I can’t believe it, I am delighted. I am more delighted for the three points for the team which we need to build on. I am over the moon to score.
“I am always there waiting every week for one to drop out at the edge of the box. Josh set me up with a perfect pass, and thankfully I hit it cleanly and it went in.
“For the second, when I see the ball coming out the sky I am just thinking I need to take a good touch so I can hit it first time. Thankfully, I hit it clean so I was delighted. I couldn’t believe it really.
“My fiancé was in the crowd today as well as 27 of my mates who were over from Ireland. So I couldn’t have asked for anything better today."
The win lifts us up to fourth in the table and back into the European places. Reflecting on the match, Jake praised his teammates for their professional performance throughout the 90 minutes.
“I didn’t think we played badly in the first half, we created a few chances and put balls into the box.
"We know that we have boys in the squad that can change games. We have boys off the bench who can change games, so we all knew that we had something there to keep going till the end.
"It was me today that scored the goals, but I am just delighted for the lads to get the three points.
“Recently we have found it tough in terms of results. But we have bounced back, we have a strong group and the changing room is all together.
"We just have to keep believing in what we are doing, keep listening to the Gaffer’s instructions and the results will continue to come."
