The Ukrainian striker hasn’t made an appearance since the return of football after the World Cup break as he's been struggling with an injury setback.

After working hard with the medical team, it looked like a return was on the cards as he was brought back into the matchday squad for our game against Celtic.

However, after feeling something in the warm-up Kuharevich dropped out of the squad and was replaced by Demetri Mitchell.

When speaking to Hibs TV, Johnson gave an update on the striker’s fitness.

“Myko will be a late shout, if I’m honest, whether he will be fit or not. He felt a little nip, which you sometimes do, with that medial ligament injury he’s got, but we’re hopeful he could at least play a half.”

Johnson will also be without Jake Doyle-Hayes and Lewis Miller who are still recovering from their knocks.
