Our top scorer this season has continued his fine form and scored a history-making goal for the Socceroos.

He bagged Australia’s second in a 3-1 win over Oman, which meant they became the first ever country to win 11 straight FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in a single campaign. 11 wins. 10 of those away from home. 35 goals scored, 3 conceded. 8 clean sheets.

Boyle could be back in action for the Aussies on Tuesday (12 October) in an 11:14 BST kick-off against Japan.

Kevin Nisbet was an unused substitute in what was a memorable night for Scotland!

Steve Clarke’s side scored a late-winner against Israel in their latest FIFA World Cup qualifier. Former Hibee John McGinn was among the scorers for the Scots, whilst our former ‘keeper Ofir Marciano was in net for Israel.

Kevin could add to his Scotland caps on Tuesday (12 October) though as they face the Faroe Islands in the country’s capital of Tórshavn; 19:45 BST kick-off at the Tórsvøllur national ground.

Similarly to Nisbet, Alex Gogic was an unused substitute for Cyprus in a 3-0 defeat to Croatia.

They face Malta this evening (11 October) in a 17:00 BST kick-off at the GSP Stadium.

Josh Doig earned his latest cap for Scotland’s U21s. He featured for just over 70 minutes in a 1-0 defeat to Denmark. James Scott was on the bench but didn’t feature.

This was the only game for Scotland’s youngsters, so the pair will return to HTC.

Nathan Wood led out England’s U20s once again in a 1-1 with Italy. The centre-back got a full 90 minutes under his belt.

The Young Lions have now travelled to Czech Republic for their second game, which takes place this evening (5pm kick-off).

Last but not least, Murray Johnson appeared for Scotland’s U19s in their behind-closed-doors friendlies.

Two of our U16s have also been given the call for the national side taking part in the 2021 Victory Shield in Belfast.

Jacob MacIntyre and Rudi Allan Molotnikov will take on the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales on 17 October (15:00 BST kick-off), 19th (15:00 BST kick-off) and 22 October (11:00 BST kick-off) respectively.
